UNIVERSITY VOLUNTARY WORK OFFICE
Many university students are willing to offer their time and effort to improve the community they live in. Universities provide the main source of volunteer workers in Spain.

The University of Seville continues to develop initiatives and strategies to provide solutions to social demands. The University consider developing activities and volunteer work as essential and in 2001 the Voluntary Work Office was created. Amongst other objectives, its principal aims are:
  • To encourage cooperation amongst everyone at the University – students, professors and staff by organising different activities.
  • To put volunteers in contact with the many charitable associations and organisations, and working with the organisations whenever possible to help their initiatives and offering resources whether materials, technical or people.
  • To provide specific high-quality training of our volunteers by organising courses and similar training activities, so that they can help different social groups in an appropriate way.
